Shadeskin

Shadeskin – With jet black skin and midnight black eyes, these creatures left the hole from which they originated, known to the rest of Korodel as “The Split” a large crack running for miles in both directions, stuffed full of precious ore and things that lurk in constant darkness. Although civilised due to their stealthy nature Shadeskin are normally treated with suspicion, especially if theft is involved.

Attributes

  • Ability Score Increase: Your Dexterity score increases by 2 and your Constitution score increases by 1. Although slightly taller than humans, they are normally quite slender. Your size is Medium
  • Speed: 30ft
  • Languages: You can speak, read and write Olish and Shadetounge.
  • Dark Vision: From years of your people living underground, the eyes of a Shadeskin, although pitch black themselves, are quite adept are seeing in the dark allowing you to see in dim light within 60 feet, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You cannot however discern colour in the darkness, only shades of grey.
  • Shade Skin: If entering a dark shadow either out of combat or as a disengaging action you can roll advantage to stealth rolls while in the darkness for 1d4 turns (including the current turn). Once used you must wait one long rest before re-using this ability.
  • Art of Shade: You have proficiency in the Stealth and sleight of hands skills.
