One of many lost Arts, Esoteric Infusions still to this day baffle most of the populous of Korodel. Even masters who are dedicated to the discovery and research of these intricate items have a very limited knowledge as to their true nature. As it currently stands the only way to obtain an Esoteric Infusion is by finding it within a ruin or purchasing it from a collector or auction house.

Esoterics come in all forms of shapes, sizes, abilities and personalities. From a tiny compass all the way up to a full set of Plate Armour. Currently Esoterics come in three classifications; Offensive, Defensive and Unitily, with many having mixed aspects within. They were thought to have been created by the Ancient Ones during the war times to help fend off the invading forced of the old gods, they are theorized to use the souls of many within their creation, be it by sacrifice or other means, though the method to their creation still remains very much a mystery.

The sentience of a Esoteric usually dedicates how potent it's personality it, they can range from communicating with their users through feelings of suggestion all the way up to full, intelligent conversations.

Upon finding an Esoteric there is a small period of time where one must bond to it. This process usually takes a week during which time the esoteric cannot be un-summoned or communicated with. It is believed that this bond is what allows a Esoteric user to summon and un-summon their tool at will, the soul bond being what allows the item to always find its way back to the user.
