Homeworld of the Humans and various corrupt beasts.

Boralidin is an extremely large planet, yet has gravity similar to Earth. It mostly consists of oceans however also contains three continents, each with distinct climates.

The Era of Darkness is the common name given by Boralidin's natives to the event that destroyed the old worlds history. It is said that a great evil force flowed into the world, bringing with it violent deaths for most of humanity. Humans bodies could not cope with the new force, those who were outside at the time died quickly, exploding. Those who were exposed later died more sinister deaths.

Animals were affected differently, growing in strength instead of dying. They mutated and gained intelligence, however their nature seemed twisted, becoming horrific beasts. What was left of humanity was hunted down or forced into hiding. What civilisation existed was mainly torn away by the beasts and time. Knowledge was lost, with survivors only remembered what they could by passing information down to their children.

It is unknown how long this era lasted, but as humanity dwindled, a discovery was made that would bring an end to the era and would ultimately lead to the creation of the Pathfinders; Domain Corruption.
